> Easter in San Cristobal de las Casas

12 days and 11 nights

Pine tree forests, humid rainforest jungles, colonial cities, pagan rituals, great gastronomy, adventure, breath-taking landscapes, magnificent archaeological sites exist side by side within the southernmost state of Mexico. This is a region awash with the legacy of Spanish rule and the remnants of ancient Maya civilization; Palenque, Yaxchilan, Piedras Negras and other important sites are evocative vestiges of powerful Maya kingdoms, and the presence of modern Maya is a constant reminder of the region’s rich and uninterrupted history.
