Ballet Folklórico de México de Amalia Hernández is the name given to the company based in the Palacio de las Bellas Artes in Mexico City, which specializes in the representation of the
traditional cultures in Mexico through dance.
Created by Amalia Hernández in 1952 has been the emblematic representative of the traditional folk dancing in more than 100 international tours, visiting over 60 countries and 300 cities.
Amalia Hernández devoted her life to rescue the traditional Mexican dances, which had been obscured by time and made big efforts to increase their quality.
