On this tour you will appreciate the history, legends and traditions of MesoAmerica; the rich legacy of the Spanish heritage in the local gastronomy and the artistic expressions of modern Mexico.

Mesoamerica (from greek: μέσος [mesos], ”in between”)

It is a historical region and cultural area in North America. It extends from approximately central Mexico through Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and northern Costa Rica, and within this region pre-Columbian societies flourished before the Spanish colonization of the Americas in the 15th and 16th centuries.

It is one of five areas in the world where ancient civilization arose independently.


Day 01 Transfer to Puebla City

Departure in the morning towards Cholula to visit the largest pyramid known to exist in the world today, after exploring the site we will continue to Santa Maria Tonantzintla, valued for its decoration in what is called indigenous Baroque. Afterwards we will have a city tour.

Day 02 Puebla City Tour

Continue with our City tour to visit a Talavera Ceramic workshop, El Rosario Chapel, the Candies street and more to enjoy the majestic architecture of this colonial city.

Day 03 Transfer to Oaxaca City

On route to Oaxaca we will visit the archaeological site of Monte Alban, a Zapotec socio-political and economic center fo close to a thousand years; afterwards we will arrive to the city for lodging and evening at leisure.

Day 04 Santa Maria del Tule, Teotitlan del Valle and Hierve el agua

In the morning we will visit the +2000 years old tree in Santa Maria del Tule, we will continue towards Teotitlan del Valle, where we will admire the ancient dying and weaving techniques using natural dyes and hand-operated looms; afterwards we will visit the petrified waterfalls at Hierve el Agua.

Overnight in Oaxaca City

Day 05 Convent of Santo Domingo and Oaxaca City Tour

Today we will enjoy a city tour to explore the Santo Domingo Temple and ex-convent, the most important architectonic ensemble in the city and El Rosario Chapel, which are masterpieces of the Mexican baroque style. Next we will visit the Ethnobotanic garden and the museum, where are exhibited the jewels found at the Tomb No. 7 of Monte Alban.

Day 06 Transfer to Juchitan

Before we leave the Oaxaca central valleys, we will visit the workshops where the most beautiful Alebrijes are produced in San Martin Tilcajete, home to this fantastic creations; afterwards we will transfer to Juchitan.

Day 07 Transfer to San Cristobal de las Casas

On route we will visit the amazing Sumidero Canyon to admire this marvel of nature, emblem of Chiapas and technological wonder of Mexico.

Day 08 City Tour in San Cristobal de las Casas

Enjoy a city tour visiting the Ambar Museum, the Santo Domingo temple, the Cathedral, the parks, pedestrian streets, bakeries, coffee shops and bars!

Day 09 San Juan Chamula & Zinacantan

Visit these famous villages where you will admire the traditions, religious syncretism, beautiful arts and crafts and the warmth of the people.

Day 10 Transfer to Palenque

On the way to Palenque we will visit the waterfalls to enjoy the beautiful colors, refreshing water and beautiful landscape.

Day 11 Palenque Archaeological Site

Today we will visit one of the most impressive archaeological sites of the Maya civilization, the temple of the Inscriptions, where Alberto Ruz Lhuillier discovered in 1952 the tomb of K’inich Janaab Pakal or Pakal the Great.

Day 12 Aeropuerto Internacional de Palenque

At the convenient time we will take you to the Palenque International Airport to continue with your journey.
