Mexico City Multiday Tour

5 days through our history, food and traditions!

On this tour I will depict the city as it was showed to me when I was a kid, I
will take you to find the best tacos, I will explain the context in which famous
murals were painted by Rivera, Orozco, Siqueiros and many more; I will take
you to the secret places where Mexican party, where the families stroll in a
Sunday’s afternoon and where they pay their devotion to the patroness of
Mexico.


On this tour you will navigate through the floating gardens of Xochimilco and
will stroll the National University Campus, both inscribed in the UNESCO’s list
of Humanity’s heritage sites along with Mexico City’s downtown; you will
visit Coyoacan, where Diego & Frida lived, the magnificent National
Anthropology Museum and a lot more this magnificent city has to offer!

INTINERARY

To feel the ambience of Mexico City we will have today our CDMX Downtown Walking tour, starting at the Diego Rivera Mural Museum, which exhibits the Mural “A dream of a Sunday’s afternoon at the Alameda Park”, then we will continue towards the Fine Arts Palace, before we reach in the Main Square, we will enjoy lunch at a traditional eatery (not included in the cost of the tour), the gold pin to close this tour will be the visit to the Cathedral and the National Palace.

We will start today with the visit to the Anthropology Museum, considered the most important museum in the country, was designed by Architect Pedro Ramirez Vazquez and was inaugurated on September 17, 1964, exhibits multiple archaeological and anthropological testimonies forged by multiple cultural groups of the country through centuries of history.

The settlement of Teotihuacan was the most influential city in Mesoamerica through the Classic Period, and today is the most visited archaeological site in the country, afterwards we will visit the Basilica of Our lady of Guadalupe, patroness of Mexico, where you will learn and witness the devotion of the Mexican Society.

In the Colors of Mexico art tour, we will start visiting the Campus of the National University, to admire the Murals by Diego Rivera, David A. Siqueiros and the Central Library by Juan O’Gorman, then we will continue towards Coyoacan to visit the Frida Kahlo Casa Azul, where she was born, she grew up, lived with Diego Rivera and died, after a traditional lunch, we will continue towards the floating gardens of Xochimilco, to party and enjoy with the local families.

On our fifth day we will enjoy a City Tour to visit the San Fernando Graveyard, the Monument to the Revolution, the Street Art in Condesa and Roma neighborhoods and to close with a gold pin, we will enjoy a folkloric show, including a full Mariachi band at the famous Garibaldi Square.
