October 30, 2026 — Arrival in Mexico City – After you finish with the immigration and customs services at Mexico City International Airport, keep going through the glass doors into the arrivals area, where we’ll be waiting to escort you to your private transfer to your accommodations in Mexico City. After you have settled and relaxed, we’ll pay a visit to the Garibaldi Square for our welcome folklore show, including Mariachi music, traditional dances, and one complimentary drink. October 31, 2026 — Peña de Bernal and Transfer to San Miguel de Allende – After breakfast, we’ll depart for Peña de Bernal. For active travelers, there will be time for a gentle hike along the lower slopes of the monolith, offering magnificent panoramic views over the semi-desert landscapes of Querétaro. Those preferring a more leisurely pace may relax in the main plaza, browsing through the local arts & crafts.

November 1, 2026 — Day of the Dead in San Miguel de Allende – The day begins with a leisurely City Tour through the historic center, where cobblestone streets, colonial mansions, and flower-filled plazas are beautifully decorated with marigolds, candles, papel picado, and elaborate altars dedicated to loved ones.

Guests will visit the iconic Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, whose neo-Gothic towers rise above a city alive with music, costumes, and artistic expressions. Along the way, your guide shares the meaning behind the Day of the Dead traditions, explaining the symbolism of offerings, sugar skulls, incense, and the belief that families welcome back the spirits of departed relatives during these sacred days. In the early afternoon, we’ll continue to the community cemetery where families gather to honor their departed relatives.

Far from being a somber occasion, the cemetery visit offers a respectful and moving glimpse into one of Mexico’s most meaningful traditions.

Guests will observe beautifully decorated graves covered with candles, flowers, photographs, and offerings while local families share music, prayers, food, and memories in celebration of life and remembrance. Your guide will explain the symbolism and customs associated with the altars, candlelight, and overnight vigils.

November 2, 2026 — Guanajuato City – Depart in the morning for a scenic drive through the heart of the Bajío region toward Guanajuato City, where we will visit the elegant Teatro Juárez, the lively Jardín de la Unión, and the historic Basilica de Nuestra Señora de Guanajuato, then the tour continues through some of Guanajuato’s most picturesque streets, including the famous Callejón del Beso. Return to San Miguel de Allende in the evening after a remarkable day immersed in one of Mexico’s most meaningful and visually stunning traditions.

November 3, 2026 — El Charco del Ingenio Botanical Garden – The morning begins with a visit to El Charco del Ingenio, a remarkable botanical garden and protected ecological reserve located just outside the historic center. Guests will explore peaceful walking trails surrounded by native cacti, succulents, wetlands, and dramatic canyon scenery characteristic of the semi-desert highlands of central Mexico. Scenic viewpoints overlooking San Miguel de Allende offer exceptional panoramic opportunities throughout the visit.
