DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 01: Valladolid, Yucatan

Early in the morning, we will depart for Valladolid. En route, we will visit the Tulum Archaeological Site, offering a breathtaking view of the Caribbean Ocean. Next, we will explore the Punta Laguna Reserve, where you can admire the diverse flora and fauna of the jungle. In the evening, enjoy a City Tour in Valladolid. Overnight in Valladolid.

Day 02: Ek Balam and Rio Lagartos Biosphere Reserve

Begin the day by exploring the Ek Balam archaeological site, where you can climb the impressive acropolis to admire the facade of the mortuary chamber of Ukit Kan Lek’tok. At Rio Lagartos Biosphere Reserve, observe a variety of wildlife, including flamingos, crocodiles, pelicans, and more, while enjoying a boat ride along the mangroves. Overnight stay in Valladolid

Day 03: Transfer to Merida via Chichen Itza

Today, we will transfer to Merida, a beautiful colonial city founded by Francisco de Montejo in the 16th century. Day 04: Uxmal and The Chocolate Museum

Explore the Puuc region, one of the finest architectural achievements of the ancient Maya. Uxmal, once the main city of the region, showcases magnificent temples, palaces, and sculptures reflecting the architectural richness of the era. Day 05: Merida City Tour

On our Merida City Tour, we will visit the Main Square, the Cathedral, Montejo House, Plaza Grande, and Lucas de Galvez Market. Enjoy a local experience by having a beer at a cantina with the locals. Overnight stay in Merida

Day 06: Journey to Playa del Carmen via Izamal

En route to Playa del Carmen, we will visit Izamal, known as the “Yellow City.” Explore the Convent of San Antonio de Padua and enjoy a city tour on a horse-drawn buggy to learn about the life of the modern and ancient Maya people. In the afternoon, arrive at the Mayan Riviera. End of Services

IZAMAL
